Working Groups

The purpose of the Forum's Steering Committee and three working groups is to produce concrete proposals on how specific areas within the pharmaceutical sector can be enhanced. All committee and working group members are pharmacists.

EPF Steering Committee
The Steering Committee focuses on political and government issues.

Working Group One: Pharmacy Business
Chaired by Martin Favié, this working group focuses on issues relating to pharmacy contracts, financial, retailing, Alphega Pharmacy / Kring, branding and marketing.

Working Group Two: Pharmacy Profession
Chaired by Philippe Gaertner, this working group focuses on issues in relation to existing services, new services, new opportunities, education & training.

Working Group Three: Pharmacy Partnerships
This working group is chaired by Mike Smith and focuses on issues relating to wholesaling, patients, manufacturers, insurers and homecare.
