EPF Seminar in Paris on the evolution of Retail Pharmacy

The European Pharmacists Forum (EPF) will hold a round table discussion on Tuesday 22 February from 19.00 to 21.00 hours at the Hotel Ambassador (16 bd Haussman, 75009 Paris) on the theme of "Future scenarios for dispensing pharmacies".

Participants will include Jean-Etienne Martineau, President of the European Pharmacists Forum; Ornella Barra, Group Services Director of Alliance UniChem; Jean-Louis Méry, President and Managing Director of Alliance Santé; Philippe Lieberman, Vice-President of FSPF (Féderation des Syndicats des Pharmaciens de France) responsible for European Affairs; Claude Japhet, President of UNPF (Union Nationale des Pharmacies de France); Bernard Lemoine, Managing Director of LEEM (Les Entreprises du Médicament); Gérard Raymond, Vice-President of AFD (Association Française des Diabétiques); as well as a representative of the French Council of Pharmacists ("Conseil de l'Ordre").The Round Table will be chaired by Olivier Robichon, Chief Editor of the magazine "Prescriptions Santé".

A large number of pharmacists, heads of pharmaceutical manufacturers, representatives of the pharmacy profession and opinion-formers will attend the event.

Established in 1999 as an initiative of the Alliance UniChem Group, the main aim of the European Pharmacists Forum (EPF) is to support a European and tranverse approach to the profession, to bring pharmacists together to discuss ideas and share key messages. The Forum also allows us to enrich the strategic thinking of Alliance UniChem and its portfolio of services to European pharmacists. Bringing together representatives from the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, The Netherlands and Switzerland, the European Pharmacists Forum holds four major seminars each year in different European capitals. The first meeting of 2005 will be held in Paris, with seminars later in the year in The Netherlands, the UK and Italy.
