The European Pharmacists Forum (EPF) held its first seminar of 2013 on 11 and 12 March in Paris, which attracted around 200 delegates who gathered to discuss the latest developments within the industry. Kermit Crawford, President of Pharmacy, Health and Wellness at Walgreen Co. (Walgreens), provided attendees with an exclusive introduction to a Walgreens pharmacy. His presentation was followed by a roundtable in which leaders from the pharmacy industry joined Kermit to debate pharmacy in Europe and the US. Alliance Boots and Walgreens announced last June they had entered a strategic partnership to create the first global pharmacy-led, health and wellbeing enterprise.
